You are skilled at keeping everything and everyone organised – you love a good process…

You work well under pressure and realise the list never stops, but you can prioritise, so that’s OK...

You understand that if the church administration is well run, then all ministries can flourish

We are a thriving evangelical and charismatic Anglican Church and you can be the person who can help us fulfil God’s vision for our community by keeping us organised and structured with our administration. It’s a vital role on the front line and you’ll be a critical part of the team.

You’ll be the point of contact for our church family and for everyone else engaging with the church and centre. You’ll manage enquiries, support our Operations Manager with bookings and invoicing and support the administration for crucial life events. You’ll also work with our Treasurer to process our transactions on Xero and you’ll help our Safeguarding Officer with our volunteer admin.

It’s a busy, rewarding job where you will thrive if you love multi-tasking.

You’ll need to demonstrate the following:

  • Good with numbers and IT
  • Communication is a strength
  • Comfortable both in a team and working on your own
  • Warm and friendly, calm and approachable
  • Accurate and an eye for detail
  • Able to prioritise, be organised and efficient

We’re offering a salary of £21,840 per annum (£12p/h) as well as a 9% contributory pension scheme, great holiday allowance and relevant training and development opportunities. This role is offered on a permanent basis and is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We are open to some hours being worked from home, but the majority of the role will be based on site.  We are also open to applications from those who would be interested in working part-time, possibly as part of a job share.  Please ensure you indicate your preference/availability within the additional information section of the application form.

For us to be right for you, your Christian faith and personal values must be consistent with those of Highfield Church - we want you to be happy and settled within our large, friendly staff team.
