The governors of Highfield School would like to update you on the headteacher recruitment that we spoke to you all about in February.

Like many things planned, COVID-19 put a pause on the active recruitment of a headteacher following the lockdown put in place as school leaders, rightly, had other priorities.

We are pleased to let you know that Mrs Warren has accepted the role of Acting Headteacher for the academic year 2020/21 and will lead the school as it returns for all pupil groups and until another process can be planned.

Please continue to pray for Highfield School as it transitions in these difficult times and for Mrs Warren as she steps in to lead our school.
