GIVING FINANCIALLY TO THE CHURCH
For us, giving is an act of worship and part of the challenging lifestyle that is following Jesus.
We encourage all who are part of Highfield to give to the life of our church. It's through giving of time, energy, and finances that we're able to fulfil the vision that God has given us for Highfield Church, to encounter Him, grow together, and seek the Kingdom.
Jesus is very clear that it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).
HOW DO I GIVE REGULARLY?
Regular giving really helps us to plan and use our money effectively!
We use the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) to collect regular donations. Please prayerfully consider using the PGS scheme to set up a regular monthly payment. Click here for more details.
HOW DO I GIVE A ONE-OFF DONATION?
If you would like to give to support all that we do at Highfield, you can donate online here, or use the contactless giving point at the back of the church. Our Church Wardens are on hand should you require any assistance, and they can also help facilitate cash and cheque donations if required. Alternatively payments can be made directly into the church bank account by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We also appreciate it so much when people choose to remember Highfield Church in their wills. More information about Legacy Gifts can be found in our leaflet here.
HOW DOES HIGHFIELD CHURCH USE MY DONATIONS?
A large church like ours has many calls on its finances, including:
- Paying our wonderful staff team, including the Children and Families' Pastor, Head of YTH, Student Worker, Worship Pastor, Executive Pastor and our operations team, as well as, indirectly, the Vicar and Associate Vicar
- Supporting our Mission Partners, both in the UK and overseas
- Maintaining and improving the church and the church centre
- Open House, media, community events, and much more!
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
(2 Corinthians 9:7-8)
