We are excited to be uniting with 85 nations around the world during a global week of 24/7 prayer. Come and join us here in Highfield 1-7 September 2025 when we will seek to encounter God’s presence, hear His heart, and contend for transformation in our towns, cities, and nations. 

There are many ways to join in, as you read on ask the Holy Spirit to nudge you and be open to what stirs your heart. Perhaps you will try something new in our individual prayer slots in the creative prayer space through the day and night or join early risers with Sunrise Prayer or House of Prayer, try Midday Lectio Prayer or commit to the Evening Watch.

When we pray, we experience God’s presence, power, and love, which transforms our lives and communities...

“My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Malachi 1:11

...and so we are attempting to have unceasing prayer 24 hours a day for 7 days. In the north aisle you will find different prayer stations to journey through including prompts and creative activities to assist our prayers. There will be some slots allocated to silent prayer, others will be flexible allowing spoken intercessions around the prayer space and other slots will include live worship (traditional in the morning and contemporary in the afternoon). Just turn up through the day between 6am-8.30pm (see our daily rhythm below for more details). Click here if you would like to sign up to a 1 hour individual prayer slot through the night.

We believe God will move powerfully when we create space in our busy schedules and come together to seek him. Let's unite as a whole church family interceding for God's kingdom to come in our lives, our church, in Highfield, in Southampton, in the ministries of our Mission Partners and for the areas of the world he puts on our hearts...

...during our daily rhythm of prayer there will be 4 opportunities to join others praying in our corporate prayer gatherings. Come ready to be inspired and to pray together.

• 6-7am Sunrise Prayer - start your day interceding for Southampton
  

• 9-9.30am House of Prayer - just like our usual HoP we will worship, listen to the Lord and respond in intercession as he leads us
  
  
• 12-12:30pm Midday Lectio 365 - At midday we’ll pause together to pray The Lord’s Prayer and consider a short reflection to connect with God before breaking into prayer triplets. The prayer each day will be focussed on compassion: moving our agenda to see the world around us from God’s perspective, interceding for his kingdom to come. Can't come during the work day? We encourage you to start your lunch break using the Lectio 365 app just as we will be in the church building.

• 7.30-8.30pm Evening Watch -  "I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night..." Isaiah 62:6-7. Join other passionate intercessors standing alert in prayer to encounter God’s presence, hear His heart, and contend for transformation in our towns, cities, and nations.
