Individual Prayer - Guidelines for Entering Church

In order for us to be able to open the church for individual prayer, a number of measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of all those entering the building. Please make yourself familiar with the following guidance before attending:

  • A one way system through the church will be in place, so please enter through the west door and exit via the south door
  • Some doors will be propped open to minimise the need to touch door handles - please leave all doors as you find them
  • When you arrive a welcomer will ask if you consent to us passing your details onto NHS Test and Trace and if you do will take your name and contact details
  • Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds on arrival, or use the hand sanitiser provided by the west door. Hand sanitiser will also be available around the church and by the south door
  • The chairs have been spaced out to ensure a 2m distance is maintained between all visitors - please do not move them. With the seats spaced out in this way our maximum capacity has been significantly reduced - please be understanding if we ask you to wait outside until there is space to enter
  • The hospitality area has been cordoned off and should not be used
  • The toilets will be open and will be cleaned (along with the rest of the building) thoroughly after each session
  • Please remember to cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, put used tissues in the bin straight away and then thoroughly wash your hands
  • Face coverings are now mandatory for all those attending a place of worship (in line with Government guidance from 8 August), unless you are exempt

If you attend church and then experience symptoms of Covid-19, please contact the office as soon as possible at office@highfield.church or by calling 023 8055 8234.
