We want young people to know that they aren't just the future of the church — they are the church now. 

Serving Sundays create opportunities for our young people to get involved in the wider life of Highfield Church and join in for the monthly Worship for Everyone service. During this service we ask all our young people to serve on one of the teams. This could be helping with hospitality, getting involved with worship, tech, welcome or simply finding another way to contribute. We want young people to discover that they have something to offer.

Serving is an important part of following Jesus. It helps us look beyond ourselves, use the gifts God has given us and become part of something bigger than our own experience.

We want to encourage a culture where young people don't simply ask, “What can church do for me?” but begin to ask, “How can God use me to serve others?” It’s also a great opportunity to get to know the wider church where normally this wouldn’t happened due to both services happening at the same time.
