# Internal Updates

Timothy Year 2026-27

Join us to be equipped and empowered to grow as leaders!

This year is specifically designed for Christian young adults who feel a call towards leadership in some capacity. We aim to give you, both men and women, a vision for your future call as Christian leaders, whether that’s within the church, in mission or in the world.

We will equip you, encourage you, give you the opportunity to put what you’re learning into practice and aim to see you become the Timothys the church needs you to be in the near future!

Why Timothy Year?

Timothy was around 20 when he became part of Paul’s team in Acts 16:1-3. He was trained by Paul and worked with him for over a decade before being given the task of leading the church of a whole city. Even then he was still seen as a young man according to 1 Timothy 4:12.

Nor was this easy: Timothy had to lead the church in Ephesus back to faithfulness to the gospel after some of their own leaders had led them astray. He was ready for this tough call in his early thirties only because he’d been trained and equipped for leadership so early. We want to do the same for you!

We want you to see yourselves as young leaders being prepared now to hold significant Kingdom responsibility in the future!
